The meaning behind the number

One beginning.
Double prosperity.

Some names need an explanation. Others carry a story from the very first impression. 188 brings together the promise of a fresh start and the enduring appeal of eight.

The beginning of something great

One evokes a first step, a new venture and the ambition to lead. Every extraordinary story starts somewhere.

A symbol of prosperity

Eight is widely associated with wealth and good fortune in Chinese number symbolism. Its flowing shape also invites a visual connection to infinity.

Good fortune, amplified

A repeated eight strengthens the auspicious association. Paired with one, it inspires a compelling brand story: a new beginning with prosperity multiplying.

An auspicious interpretation for your brand — a story of possibility, rather than a promise of financial returns.

An address with ambition

Easy to remember.
Yours to define.

Short to type, clear to say and striking on a business card. 188.sg gives a future brand a compact identity with a distinctly Singapore connection.

From an ambitious new venture to an established business ready for a fresh identity, the next chapter is open.
